Overview:Join a team with over 50 years of success in the real estate industry! Lincoln Property Company is currently hiring for a Senior Corporate Accountant. We are looking for an organized, team-oriented person who has 3-5 years of experience working with financial reporting. This position will report to the Corporate Controller, assisting them with all aspects of corporate accounting and reporting. ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Corporate Accountant is a key member of the corporate accounting team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate books and records for the company, assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and budgets for upper management and investors, and working with external auditors. This is a dynamic role, with exposure to many aspects of the company during day-to-day operations. Responsibilities are as follows: - Assist with the month end financial close process, including journal entry preparation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, bank reconciliations, and general ledger review- Assist with variance analysis and other analytical reports on monthly and quarterly financial statements- Prepare, consolidate, and review financial statements for the company on a monthly basis- Prepare, consolidate, and review forecasts for the company on a quarterly basis- Assist with the external audits including preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries- Assist with budget preparation annually- Work with the accounts payable team on allocations, invoice processing, and ad hoc projects- Work with different departments within the company including marketing, learning and talent development, treasury, and regional accounting on budgeting and operations. QualificationsQualifications are as follows: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting- CPA a plus- 3-5 years of experience, with 3+ years of public accounting a plus- General understanding of GAAP, with IFRS experience a plus- Strong proficiency in Excel- Team player, who is proactive and takes ownership of their work.- Detail oriented, with strong organization skills, and has the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at one time.- Excellent verbal and written communication
